The Story Behind Apollo Von Scherzer
Michael Charles Scherzer II — but everyone calls me Mac. I'm a late '90s kid who grew up when the internet was still the wild west. While other kids were just playing games, I was tearing them apart to understand how they worked.
It started with RuneScape private servers. I taught myself JavaScript, Java, and server architecture just to build my own worlds. No tutorials, no Stack Overflow — just source code, trial and error, and an obsession with making things work.
Then came the Xbox 360 era. I was deep into JTAG and RGH console modifications — flashing custom firmware, homebrewing, and modding everything from MW2 lobbies to custom dashboards. I understood hardware and software at the lowest level before I could drive a car.
I was also part of the trickshotting and YouTube montage movement — the culture that pioneered what would eventually become modern esports. We were building communities, editing content, and creating the blueprint for competitive gaming entertainment before "content creator" was even a job title.
This wasn't random. My grandmother, Diane Moore, owned a marketing company. The entrepreneurial blood, the creative instinct, the drive to build something from nothing — it runs in the family. I was destined for this.
In January 2019, I founded Project Apollo Dev — a 3D rendering and Web3 design studio. It evolved into Apollo Von Scherzer, and today we build enterprise AI platforms, custom CRM systems, and digital experiences that drive real results for businesses nationwide.

The Journey
From Private Servers to Enterprise AI
The Beginning
A kid in the late 90s/early 2000s discovers coding through RuneScape private servers. Self-taught JavaScript, Java, and server architecture — no bootcamp, no degree, just raw curiosity and late nights.
Console Modding Era
JTAG and RGH Xbox 360 modifications. Custom firmware, homebrew development, and modding for MW2 and other titles. Deep understanding of systems, hardware, and software at the lowest level.
Pioneering Esports Culture
Part of the trickshotting and YouTube montage movement that helped shape what would become modern esports. Creating content, building communities, and pushing creative boundaries before "content creator" was a job title.
Project Apollo Dev
Founded Project Apollo Dev in January 2019 — a 3D rendering and Web3 design studio. The first chapter of what would become something much bigger.

Evolved into Apollo Von Scherzer LLC — a full-service digital solutions company. Custom web development, AI-powered platforms, CRM systems, and enterprise software.
Apollo AI Platform
Launched the Apollo AI platform — neural learning CRM, AI-powered content generation, and intelligent automation. Serving clients nationwide from Chattanooga, TN.
